Fuji Shuffle (To The Left) is a celebration of the cultural richness of Nigerian fuji music and Yoruba culture, inspired by the classic shuffle/group dance songs (e.g. Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide, Electric Slide, the Wobble). The record is produced by DAP and features the familiar ingredients of highlife music, live talking drums (by Olawale Oyenola), horns (by Syl DuBenion), and an infectious, percussive guitar riff (by Peter Enriquez). The music video is an ode to the incomparable Nigerian music legend Lagbaja.
